From the artist:
“Since childhood I have had a love and appreciation for all types of art. I was lucky enough to have a family who nurtured and supported my artistic interests. I find that working with clay is a grounding and rewarding experience. I primarily work in high fire stoneware using different combinations of dipping glazes. I prefer creating wares that are both fun and functional, usually finding inspiration throughout nature. In addition to being an instructor, I continue to participate as a student in workshops and classes, grasping at any opportunity I can to expand my knowledge and continue learning.”
