Wild Violets French Wire Earring
by David Howell and Co.
Did you know that the meadow violet is the state flower of New Jersey? An optimistic harbinger of warmer months, the humble violet is prized flower. These delicate earrings hint at the renewal that spring offers. Approximately 1.25″ long, with hypo-allergenic french wires.
Each pair of earrings is elegantly presented in a 3″ x 4.5″ lidded box with printed insert.
A native wildflower, the violet tends to favor woods, thickets, and stream banks. With heart-shaped leaves, the flowers can be blue-violet or sometimes yellow or white. Each flower appears on its leafless stalk and is edible. Depending on location, the flower blooms from early spring into the early summer months.
