Blue and White Labyrinth Pendant Glass Necklace by Jeri Warhaftig
This pendant was made from Bullseye Glass and Enamel. The designs are permanently sandblasted into the surface. The pendants are set in sterling silver and the chains are also sterling silver. It comes with the artist's card. Chain measures 18″ long. pendant measures 1.5″ d. This pendant also can be worn as a pin.
About the Artist
Jeri Warhaftig is the recent past president of the International Society of Glass Beadmakers. She is a glass artist and teacher who worked collaboratively with her husband, Neil Fabricant. Gallery exhibitions across the country feature collaborative work with Ronnie Lambrou and Jeri's beads in complex necklaces. The ISBG Presidents Collection at the Corning Museum of Glass includes two of Jeri's pieces.
Jeri is the author of Glass Bead Workshops and Creating Glass Beads, published by Lark. Jeri and Neil manufacture, teach and sell Puffy Mandrels, the unique mandrel used for making hollow beads. Considered an expert in coldworking, she designs intricate sandblasted glass motifs on her cast glass boxes and pendants. Additionally, she is also a prolific borosilicate chain artist making a wide array of chains in varying colors, sizes, and styles.
In the glass community, Jeri is known for her innovative link shapes, the precision of her forms, and her recent use of dichroic finishes. Currently, her body of work includes her cast glass boxes, which serve as a canvas for her coldworked imagery. Furthermore, she is also a prolific borosilicate glass chain artist making a wide array of chains in varying colors, sizes, and styles for necklaces.
