Phyllis Seidner Berry and Vine Household Crock in Warm Spice

A wide band of cutwork berries and blooms on a leafy vine encircles the top 3″ of this warm, spice-colored crock. Standing 8″ tall with a 6″ diameter, it will corral kitchen utensils, paintbrushes, or a bouquet of flowers. The vessel is signed by the artist and features her signature stamp.

Phyllis Seidner is the Craft Studio Manager at WheatonArts. She makes functional and decorative pottery featuring handcut motifs and carving and teaches pottery workshops at WheatonArts.

All of her work is handcrafted on
the pottery wheel in the
WheatonArts Ceramic Studio.
Phyllis’ work features the
beautiful glazes she creates using
salt firing, reduction firing and
wood firing. High firing in
the kiln results in durable stoneware
that is both functional and
long lasting.
