David Leppla attended Kent State University, where he obtained a Masters Degree in Fine Arts. He has received awards from The New Jersey Council for the Arts Grant, the Distinguished Artist Award from the New Jersey Council for the Arts Grant, the Creative Glass Center of America in Millville, NJ and the ITT International Fellowship Award in Stockholm, Sweden.
