William Morris Leicester earrings
by David Howell and Co.
These floral, giclee print earrings are solid brass, electro-plated with gold finish. Gold plated french wires complete the set.
Each pair of earrings is elegantly presented in a 3″ x 4.25″ lidded box with printed insert.
Leicester, the inspiration for these earrings, is a pattern created in 1911 by John Henry Dearle for Morris & Co.
Dearle's contributions to textile design were long overshadowed by the towering figure of William Morris. Dearle exhibited early patterns under the Morris name and even today many Dearle designs are popularly offered as William Morris patterns.
For more than 30 years, David Howell & Company has specialized in the design and manufacturing of sophisticated, museum quality gifts – made in America.
