Ginkgo Leaf Earrings

The Ginkgo is one of our oldest plant species and sometimes called a living fossil.
Its fan-shaped leaves are the inspiration for these gold plated post earrings. Approximately 1.5″ long, the hand enameled leaves are solid brass, electro-plated with gold finish.
Each pair of earrings is elegantly presented in a 3″ x 4.25″ lidded box with printed insert.

The gingko tree is not native to North America, but comes from China. The tree is prized for its ability to withstand the hardest of environments – the urban street corner and bus stop. Gingko extract has been used in China and Japan against asthma and severe allergic inflamations.
