Weekend Glass Blowing Workshop

In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will have an introduction to glassblowing techniques and studio safety. Participants will learn to gather glass, learn about the proper usage of glassblowing tools, create simple blown forms, and learn a variety of color applications. Class time will be divided between instruction and hands-on supervised work.

Saturday & Sunday, May 10 & 11, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Class Duration: 2 sessions, 12 hours total

Location: Glass Studio

Ages: 16 & above

Class Limit: 10 people

Class Fee: Free to veterans and active military! (Documentation is required)

CANCELATION POLICY: Refunds are eligible up to one week before the beginning of the workshop. After this time, workshop fees are non-refundable. WheatonArts reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to minimum enrollment. If cancellation occurs, WheatonArts will refund all workshop fees. A $25 fee is charged to those who do not show up for their appointment. We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment; otherwise, it will be considered a no-show, except in the case of illness. Are you feeling unwell or showing symptoms of COVID-19?
