Leaf Print Decorative Tiles
June 9 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm EDT
$67.50 – $75.00In this workshop you’ll immerse yourself in the outdoors for a few delightful minutes (weather permitting), carefully selecting leaves, flowers, and other natural elements to incorporate into ceramic tiles. Guided by the expertise of your instructor, Amy Peseller, you’ll gain insights into identifying the most suitable foliage for creating impressions.
When you return inside, to the studio, you will learn the art of rolling out a perfect clay slab and cutting tiles. Amy will guide you through the process of transforming the collected foliage into a design. You’ll then learn the technique of rolling and pressing this intricate pattern into the clay.
The versatility of your tiles extends beyond the workshop, as these tiles can be used as decorative wall hangings or transformed into functional coasters for your favorite beverages.
