Introduction to Character Design

An event every week that begins at 2:00 pm on Saturday, repeating until October 7, 2023
For fans of cartoons, anime, and comics, this class will immerse you in the behind-the-scenes work of the creation of your favorite characters. You will create your own unique and impactful character by utilizing the three key aspects of character design; silhouette, palette, and exaggeration. By following the same steps as the creators of your favorite visual stories, you will design a character that is entirely unforgettable.
Saturday Instruction: September 2, 9, 16, 30, and October 7

CANCELATION POLICY: Refunds are eligible up to one week before the beginning of the workshop. After this time, workshop fees are non-refundable. WheatonArts reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to minimum enrollment. If cancellation occurs, WheatonArts will refund all workshop fees. A $25 fee is charged to those who do not show up for their appointment. We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment; otherwise, it will be considered a no-show, except in the case of illness. Are you feeling unwell or showing symptoms of COVID-19?
