$270.00 – $300.00This workshop will introduce the foundations of advanced stemware and use them to identify and challenge the role of skill within studio practice. Participants will discover ways to tighten up their working procedures as both gaffer and assistant in exercises that will challenge them to reconsider elements of time, temperature, physics, and risk while at work. Technical focal points will include tips for blowing thinner bubbles, breaking down the 1- and 2-part avolio, accepting blown feet, hot assemblage strategies, and introducing a deeper understanding of punty architecture.

CANCELATION POLICY: Refunds are eligible up to one week before the beginning of the workshop. After this time, workshop fees are non-refundable. WheatonArts reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to minimum enrollment. If cancellation occurs, WheatonArts will refund all workshop fees. A $25 fee is charged to those who do not show up for their appointment.
