Basket Weaving Workshop: Traditional New Jersey Market Basket

$126.00 – $140.00Explore the timeless art of basket weaving with the New Jersey Market Basket—a versatile basket originally designed for the traditional “going to market” purpose. Today, these baskets have evolved into multifunctional items, serving as stylish containers for collecting fresh vegetables from your garden or convenient carriers for your belongings to and from the car, among other practical uses.
In this workshop, you will discover the intricate techniques of basket weaving and have the opportunity to craft your own market basket using a specialized mold. The approximate dimensions of your finished masterpiece will be 10 inches in length, 8 inches in width, and 5 inches in height, providing both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

CANCELATION POLICY: Refunds are eligible up to one week before the beginning of the workshop. After this time, workshop fees are non-refundable. WheatonArts reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to minimum enrollment. If cancellation occurs, WheatonArts will refund all workshop fees. A $25 fee is charged to those who do not show up for their appointment.
