Brown Spotted Sandpiper by Ray Yoast. This carved wood bird was made by local New Jersey woodcarver, Ray Yoast. This realistic shore bird is in mid walk as he forages for food along the shoreline. A carved wooden seashell rests nearby waiting to be flipped over. Spotted Sandpipers are one of the most widespread breeding shorebirds in the United States. They are are seen near ponds, rivers and lakes.
It measures 7.5″ l x 5.5″ h x 4.75″ d.
