“Second in our series of seasonal paperweights, we celebrate Autumn, also known as Fall, or Harvest. It's the time of year when we say goodbye to summer in a celebration of colors. You know its Autumn when the shedding of leaves from deciduous trees results in a wave of color with bright oranges, yellows and reds. The color change is from a decrease in chlorophyll which power green leaves through photosynthesis. Warm days and cool nights spark this change in nature. Superstition says that catching leaves brings good luck: each leaf caught equals a lucky month next year.”
