About the Artist
I began working with glass in 1974 after viewing a lampworker making a sculpture, I knew this was what I wanted for my life’s work.
Glass is the ultimate challenge; it has properties of no other material and offers the artist possibilities that are inspiring for the creative process. As technical problems are solved, it offers the artist more latitude for artistic expression. Much of my work is inspired by nature, capturing the beauty and motion of the subject and freezing a moment in time.
