DESCRIPTION:Sandra brings a hands-on approach to teaching in this introductory-level workshop. This workshop covers a brief history of encaustic\, equipment needed\, setting up your workspace\, mixing colors\, adding media\, and of course safety. Additional techniques will include collage\, image transfer\, and combining oil with wax. Everything you need to start creating with encaustic is included. Hands-on work time will enable participants to create up to three panels. Feel free to bring your own materials to add to the mix too! No experience necessary! Under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult. \nSaturday\, October 22 or Sunday\, December 4\, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. \nClass Duration: 1 session\, 3 hours total \nLocation: Education Studio \nAges: 16  and above \nClass Limit: 4 to 10 people \nClass Fee: $150 \nInstructor: Sandra Koberlein \nPrerequisite: None \nRegistration Closing: November 20 \n\nSeats are limited and booked on a first-come\, first-reserve basis.
