SUMMARY:Weekend Glass Blowing Workshop
DESCRIPTION:In this beginner-friendly workshop\, participants will have an introduction to glassblowing techniques and studio safety. Participants will learn to gather glass\, learn about the proper usage of glassblowing tools\, create simple blown forms\, and learn a variety of color applications. Class time will be divided between instruction and hands-on supervised work. \nSaturday & Sunday\, May 10 & 11\, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. \nClass Duration: 2 sessions\, 12 hours total \nLocation: Glass Studio \nAges: 16 & above \nClass Limit: 10 people \nClass Fee: Free to veterans and active military! (Documentation is required) \nInstructor: Glass Studio Staff \nPrerequisite: None \nRegistration Closing: May 3 \n\nSeats are limited and booked on a first-come\, first-reserve basis. Besides an auto-generated email receipt\, you will receive a confirmation email from the Director of Education and Artist Services\, Pamela Weichmann. After this time\, workshop fees are non-refundable. WheatonArts reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to minimum enrollment. If cancellation occurs\, WheatonArts will refund all workshop fees. A $25 fee is charged to those who do not show up for their appointment.
