DESCRIPTION:In this ceramic workshop\, you will learn to make handmade habitats or custom feeders for our native birds! You will learn the art of handbuilding while transforming a pre-thrown clay bottle into a one-of-a-kind refuge for birds. Guided by Ceramic Artist\, Phyllis Seidner-Vesely you will explore a variety of additive and subtractive methods\, molding the clay into a birdhouse or a practical feeder. The choice is yours! \nFriday Instruction: April 11 \nTime: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. \nClass Duration: 2 Hours \nLocation: Pottery Studio \nAges: 16 & above \nClass Limit: 5 to 10 people \nClass Fee: $75 \nInstructor: Phyllis Seidner-Vesely \nPrerequisite: None \nRegistration Closing: April 4 \n\nSeats are limited and booked on a first-come\, first-reserve basis. DESCRIPTION:Open Blow is a chance for you to work on your glass-blowing skills in a relaxed\, collaborative setting. These sessions provide a chance for you to stay connected to hot glass and your previous classmates. The sessions are running alongside our regular classes. Open Blow sessions must be purchased as they are listed. It is not possible to pick only a few dates. You must register for the entire 6-week session of Open Blow. \nFriday Student Open Blow: April 4-May 9 \nTime: 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. \nClass Duration:  18 hours of Student Open Blow \nClass Limit: 4 \nLocation: Glass Studio \nAges: 16 and above \nClass Fee: $360 \nRegistration Closing:  March 26 \nPet Policy: Visitors are NOT permitted to bring pets onto the WheatonArts campus.
