SUMMARY:Jewelry Design: Off-Loom Bead Weaving (V O Bracelet)
DESCRIPTION:In this one-session class\, students will create a woven bead wristlet using glass beads\, pearls\, and/or semi-precious stones. Off-loom bead weaving is a technique that uses string and a needle to weave beads into a flat fabric\, a tube\, or a three-dimensional object. In this class\, we will create a wristlet using the brick stitch. \nAll necessary materials and tools are provided. A base kit will be provided and is included in the class fee. Opportunities to upgrade your kit\, for an extra charge\, will be available during the class meeting. Each kit enables the students to make a unique one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry. \n  \nOctober 19\, Saturday \nTime: 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. \nClass Duration: 3 Hours \nLocation: Classroom \nAges: 16 & above \nClass Limit: 6 to 20 people \nClass Fee: $85 \nInstructor: Linda Shaen \nPrerequisite: None \nRegistration Closing: October 18 \n\nSeats are limited and booked on a first-come\, first-reserve basis. A $25 fee is charged to those who do not show up for their appointment.
