SUMMARY:Cups and Color: Glass Blowing Weekend Intensive
DESCRIPTION:In this beginner-friendly weekend intensive\, learn to break down the steps of making a glass cup. This two-day workshop will begin with a basic foundation of glassblowing. Students will go over gathering and shaping the molten material. From there\, students will learn the different types of glass colors and how to apply frits and powders to make colorful\, functional objects. \nJune 1 & 2\, Saturday & Sunday\, 10:0 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. \nClass Duration: 2 sessions\, 10 hours total \nLocation: Glass Studio \nAges: 16 & above \nClass Limit: 4 to 8 people \nClass Fee: $275 \nInstructor: Katey Murphy \nPrerequisite: None \nRegistration Closing: May 25 \n\nSeats are limited and booked on a first-come\, first-reserve basis. A $25 fee is charged to those who do not show up for their appointment.
