SUMMARY:Glass As Skin: Using Torch Work and Tooling to Explore Reworking the Surface of Blown Forms
DESCRIPTION:Dan Cutrone will introduce students to traditional and custom tooling to modify the surface of blown forms in this weekend-intensive class. During the course\, students will create blown forms\, and then they will alter the surface. Students should have some glass experience (advanced-beginner to intermediate) and be able to create a basic blown form easily. \nOctober 15 and 16\, Saturday and Sunday\, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. \nClass Duration: 2 sessions\, 12 hours total \nLocation: Glass Studio \nPrerequisite: Advanced-Beginner to Intermediate Glass Blowing Experience \nAges: 16 and above \nClass Limit: 4 to 10 people \nClass Fee: $360 \nInstructor: Dan Cutrone \nRegistration Closing: October 1 \n  \n\nSeats are limited and booked on a first-come\, first reserve basis.
