DESCRIPTION:WheatonArts is open from 11 AM to 4 PM\, Thursday through Sunday. \nA General Admission ticket is needed to visit the Museum of American Glass\, Down Jersey Folklife Center\, and Artist Studios. The grounds\, including the Nature Trail and Museum Stores\, will remain walk-in (non-ticket) accessible for those coming exclusively to shop or stroll. \nPlease arrive no later than 3 PM. \n\nFor free admission year-round\, guest passes\, and special discounts\, consider a WheatonArts Membership. Membership must be purchased in a separate transaction (in a separate cart.)

SUMMARY:Fused Glass Wind Chimes
DESCRIPTION:Fused glass wind chimes create a soothing sound\, and the sunlight makes them sparkle! This two-day class will teach you the basics of glass fusing while creating a whimsical wind chime for your porch or garden. Artist\, Deb DiMarco will guide you through the process of composing a fused glass composition and creating the windchime structure using wood\, metal hardware\, and string. \nSaturday\, September 17 & 24\,  1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. \nClass Duration: 2 sessions\, 4 hours total \nLocation: Education Studio \nClass Limit: 8 \nClass Fee: $175 \nInstructor: Deb DiMarco \nRegistration Closing: September 13\, 2022 \n\nSeats are limited and booked on a first-come\, first reserve basis. Besides an auto-generated email receipt\, you will receive a confirmation email from the Director of Education and Artist Services\, Pamela Weichmann. WheatonArts reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to minimal enrollment. If cancellation occurs\, WheatonArts will refund all workshop fees. A $25.00 fee will be charged to those who do not show up for their appointment. We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment; otherwise\, it will be considered a no-show\, except in the case of illness. Are you feeling unwell or showing symptoms of COVID-19? Appointments can be rescheduled by phone or email.  \nCOVID NOTE: *Following New Jersey State’s definition\, people are considered “fully vaccinated” for COVID-19 two weeks or more after they have received the second dose in a two-dose series or two weeks or more after they have received a single-dose vaccine and any booster doses for which they are eligible as recommended by the CDC. Vaccines must be currently authorized for emergency use or approved by the FDA or the WHO. Class participants will be required to show proof of vaccination to participate. Instructors will be wearing masks. Participants are strongly encouraged to wear masks as well; however not required.
